Readiast is an e-book application specially designed for modern people. Due to the busyness of modern people, the allocation of time has become more compact, so use the application to quickly understand the whole picture of a book
My main contributions
1.Research, journey map, ideation, low/hi-fi design, prototyping and user test
Final outcome
It does save a lot of time, but more surveys show that after sorting, users can buy books that better meet their needs
Main challenges
Before formulating a product strategy, I consulted many second-hand survey materials.The following is my integration and problem analysis
" What are people's reading habits now? Are there any major changes? "
" Will readers now prefer to go to bookstores or to the Internet? "
" Will share new knowledge or read together with other readers? "
In the era of developed Internet, people's reading habits will definitely change. I want to formulate the main functional direction of the entire product through in-depth investigations and interviews.
I want to know more about whether modern people tend to buy books in brick-and-mortar stores or online. This is of great help and thinking direction for my design.
This is about my own experience when I changed jobs. I need a certain level of the same target partners to read together, which will improve my strength. I don't know what other people think?
First, Understand the problem
First, I recommend that the team have an initial product strategy, and after finding the target users, conduct quantitative and qualitative research. We should use questionnaires and interviews as initial research and use some secondary data to unify the three user pain points.
1.It's hard to have the patience to read the entire book
Time is too fragmented, and allocating a large period of time for reading has become a trade-off. I will not look for books to read unless it is necessary. Now I prefer video content.
2.Still buy books that have nothing to read
For those who have the habit of reading, they will still like the feeling of picking up books physically, even if there is a gradual development towards digital content
3.Hope to have a place to communicate
Although the time allocated for reading is reduced, I hope that through the power of the community, we can let each other read a book together, share and supervise each other

According to the test, we found that users' safety and reliability are our product goals, but a major problem was found during the test of the publishing function. The following is the learning after the test
